Data on the functioning of breeding sites of breeding birds in the entire Delta Area (The Netherlands), the outerdike areas included. more

  • Since 2000, the current research focuses on estimating the breeding success by assessing the number of chicks capable of flying per breeding pair and on differences in condition between chicks. Species relevant to the policy like Charadrius, Common Tern and Little Tern are emphasized. Less attention is paid to seagulls.
  • The objective of this monitoring campaign is the ability to give advise on the planning and management of breeding sites for coastal breeders.
